Good day to all. I need assistance in regards to a problem on Lenovo x64 laptop with Windows 7 installed. I have installed the Hyperterminal program, but getting this message when trying set it up 'Unable to open COM1.
Jun 26, 2014 Note 1: if you still want to use the hyperterminal instead of putty just download: Or the Link http://www.filedropper.com. Windows 8 doesn't have the hyper terminal menu, but we can still run this. If you still have Windows XP, just find an copy the two files: hypertrm.exe.
Please check your port settings'. I have disabled and even uninstalled the driver without any success. Reason: I have trying to install software on a EPEC module via a serial port as this is still a old machine using this module. I know that there are usb to serial adapters available, but how do I configure Hyperterminal to get results? Your assistance will be highly appreciated.
